Doctors Without Borders
Please help John Roberts support Doctors Without
Borders. This charitable organization is completely
non-profit and is made up of licensed physicians who
volunteer their time and medical expertise to help
those people in the world that are less fortunate
than us. Specifically, we are collecting various
items and monetary donations for the relief effort
in Asia as a result of the deadly tsunami.

Locks of Love and Wigs for
Kids
John Roberts supports Locks of Love and
Wigs for Kids by providing complimentary hair cuts
for anyone donating ten inches or more of their hair
cut to one of these deserving organizations. Locks
of Love and Wigs for Kids uses hair donations to
create wigs for children suffering from alopecia or
undergoing chemotherapy treatments who may otherwise
be unable to afford hair replacement.
Denim Days
Have you ever come in to John Robert's and been
surprised to see the team dressed in jeans rather
than their usual code? It's one of the ways we
support different charities within our community.
Any team member wishing to participate in jeans day
pledges a contribution to the specific charity and
can wear jeans to work that day!
Flashes of Hope
John Robert's makeup artists have been donating their
time once a month to help with the Flashes of Hope
project. Flashes of Hope is a non-profit
organization that takes portraits of children
receiving cancer treatment and provides the family
with complimentary photos.
Rainbow Babies and
Children's Hospital
John Robert's team members regularly visit the
hospital in an effort to touch the children in a
positive way. We give hand and arm massages, braid
their hair, paint nails, apply makeup and more!
Sharing Wreath
John Robert's puts up a sharing wreath in each of our
locations during the month of December. We encourage
our team as well as our guests to 'adopt' a name
from the wreath and purchase that person a gift. All
of the names are of children who will be spending
their holiday at Rainbows Babies and Children's
Hospital.
Prom Promise
John Robert's participates with local high schools to
promote the Prom Promise. Any high school student
who signs the agreement not to drink and drive on
prom night receives a complimentary haircut. |
