John Robert's Spa and Cleveland Clinic showcase monthly
lecture series under the theme of "Health, Wellness
and Beyond" -

"Health, Wellness and Beyond" is the theme of John
Robert's Spa and the Cleveland Clinic monthly lecture
series launched April 25, 2007. The goal of this lecture
series is to give the public the opportunity to learn
and discuss contemporary beauty, health and wellness
concerns and issues. The monthly lecture series is held
at John Robert' Spa Mayfield location, 6727 Eastgate
Drive, Eastgate Shopping Center, every 4th Wednesday of
the month from 7 to 8:30pm. Topics vary each session.
The second edition of "Health, Wellness and Beyond" is
scheduled for Wednesday May 23, 2007 from 7 to 8:30pm.
Attendees will meet Dr Shashi Kusuma, Aesthetic Plastic
Surgeon at the Cleveland Clinic, Sandy Hoyt, Director of
Artistic Education and Nicole Flesher, Spa Coordinator
at John Robert's Spa.
Dr Shashi Kusuma specializes in aesthetic surgery of the
breast, body and face. His lecture will focus on "Laser
Rejuvenation for your skin", and explain the benefits of
ELOS Laser, a new device that gently removes light hair,
improves skin and reduces varicose.
"By using all the capabilities of this new device, we
can offer hair removal for patients with light-colored
hair, skin rejuvenation, wrinkle reduction, leg vein
treatment and acne treatment to patients with a wide
variety of skin tones," explains James E. Zins, M.D.,

Cleveland Clinic's
Department of Plastic Surgery.
Sandy Hoyt and Nicole Flesher will cover all the new
trends in hair and makeup for this upcoming season. As
John Robert's Director of Artistic Education, Sandy Hoyt
has participated in various photoshoots and fashion
shows across the country, the most recent being New York
Fashion Week. She has been working with John Robert's
for seven years and has been in the hair industry for 10
years. She has valuable knowledge in styles and color
techniques. Nicole Flesher, esthetician and makeup
artist at John Robert's Spa, has worked for a modeling
agency, and also participated in various local fashion
shows and photoshoots. She will present all the
different shades in makeup; provide guidelines for
makeup application, and how to get your skin to have a
natural sexy glow.
The first session held April 25, 2007 was led by three
speakers: Dr Raymond Isakov, Plastic Surgeon at the
Cleveland Clinic, Nicole Flesher, esthetician and spa
coordinator at John Robert's Spa, and Tamar Geri, Reiki
Master. The lecturers covered the following topics:
injectables treatments to help smooth out the lines of
age on the face, the importance of a good skincare
routine through different life stages, the benefits of a
facial, skin exfoliation and Microdermabrasion, the
benefits of Reiki and how it compliments medical
treatments.
